Step #1
Find Your School
Find your child's school by entering your address into the boundary map.
If you want your child to attend attend another school within or outside KSD boundaries, complete the required transfer form. Transfer forms must be submitted each school year.
Step #2
Gather Required Documents
You will need to upload the following information to register your child for school:

Proof of Age & Name: All children must be at least 5 years old by August 31 of the current school year. This may be a birth certificate, hospital certificate, adoption record, affidavit from a parent, passport, previously verified school records, or any other documents permitted by law showing date of birth and name.
- Proof of Residence: This may be a utility bill (water, electrical, garbage), rental/lease statement, income tax return statement, proof of home ownership (including a mortgage statement), or any official document showing both your name and address.
- Immunization Records: Make sure that you child is current on required immunizations. View Required Immunizations.
You will be required to upload all documents when you enroll. Standard file types accepted include PDF, JPEG and PNG.
Step #3
Enroll Online
New Students
Click on the registration link below to begin the enrollment process. After you complete the registration form, you will receive an email within one to two working days with instructions on how to complete the online enrollment process. Registration is not complete until all enrollment forms are completed and required documents are uploaded.
Returning Students
- Students who return to the district within the same school year do not need to register again. Parents and guardians should contact the student's boundary school directly to let them know that the will student will be re-enrolling.
- Current students moving up from ECEAP to kindergarten, elementary to middle school or middle school to high school, are automatically enrolled to their boundary school.
Early Entrance To Kindergarten
If a child will not be 5 years old by August 31 and the parent or guardian believes the child is academically, emotionally and socially ready for kindergarten, they may apply for an exemption to the admissions age. To apply, the child's fifth birthday must fall between September 1 and December 1 of the current school year.
