Accountability and Performance

The Board uses a two-pronged approach to evaluate the superintendent and hold the superintendent and cabinet accountable for performance and for accomplishing strategic objectives.

The Board regularly monitors to ensure accomplishment of mutually agreed upon annual objectives, tied to strategic goals, as outlined in the District’s Strategic Plan.

In addition, the Board utilizes the WSSDA Washington Standards-Based Superintendent Framework to provide formative feedback and complete an annual written summary evaluation of the superintendent.

Similarly, the superintendent utilizes the WASA Standards-Based Central Office Leadership Framework to provide formative feedback and complete an annual written summary evaluation of each cabinet member.
