Science Resource Center

Hands-on, minds on inquiry based science

The Battelle Science Resource Center (SRC), established in 2002, provides ready to use hands-on, inquiry-based science kits for students in kindergarten through 8th grade and serves dozens of schools in Southeast Washington.

The SRC also provides ongoing professional development for teachers as they work to incorporate physical, earth and space and life science kits into their classrooms. 

Funds from Battelle Legacy Grants, Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI), and Washington State Leadership & Assistance for Science Education Reform (LASER) participating districts support the operation of the SRC which is operated out of the Kennewick School District Administration Center located at 1000 W. 4th Avenue, Kennewick.
