Communications

Kennewick School District's Communications team partners supports our schools and departments by providing strategic communication support and services. Whether you need to share important updates, promote initiatives, or connect with students, parents and the community, our team is here to help you achieve your communication goals.

We provide support for ParentSquare, websites, social media and more. For website updates, please follow the directions below or email communications.ticket@ksd.org. For other inquiries, email communications@ksd.org and we will respond as quickly as possible.

Website Update Requests

As we transition to a new website provider, some updates and adjustments will be needed along the way. While we’ve worked hard to make sure everything is accurate and functioning smoothly, a few things may still need fine-tuning. We’ve set up an easy way for you to send in website change requests using the Help Desk.

 

  1. Visit Help Desk Online, conveniently housed within Rapid Identity.
  2. Underneath “Issue Related To,” select “Communications.” 
  3. Fill out your request, making sure to include all important information such as links, documents or other attachments.

 

Our system will automatically notify us when we receive a request, and we will get back to you as soon as possible. You can also email your request directly to Communications.

  • Review and update your contact information in Employee Online to ensure that you receive alerts in the event school is delayed or closed. 

    The district uses contact information that is pulled from Employee Online to notify staff by phone and text message. An email alert will also be sent to your district email. 
     
    To edit your contact information, follow these steps:

    1. Log in to Employee Online
    2. Under Personal Information select “Personal Information” and edit your phone numbers. To receive alerts, the first two phone numbers listed will be used. If you want to receive text messages, please indicate one as your cell phone number. The other phone field can be set as your primary phone if you have a landline.
    3. Click the save icon in top right corner after you have made changes. Updates are made nightly to the system.
