Staff Login
If you are a KSD staff member signing into ParentSquare for the first time, log in through Rapid Identity. If you have problems logging in through Rapid Identity, please contact the Help Desk.
After logging into ParentSquare through Rapid Identity the first time, you can use ParentSquare Account Login.

The district will send out activation emails and text messages to families using their contact information in PowerSchool on Oct. 4. A notification to all employees will be sent out when the system is ready to use. Until then, teachers may post welcome messages, but not send messages to families.

The district will launch StudentSquare the week of Oct. 10.

The district will be sending out information to families notifying them about the transition to ParentSquare on Oct. 4 and inviting them to download the app. Please note that families do not have to download the app to receive ParentSquare notifications. They will still receive notifications by email and text. They can control their notifications in ParentSquare by activating their account and logging in with the email they use in PowerSchool.

Which ParentSquare training video you should watch depends on how you will be using ParentSquare in your role as a secretary, paraeducator, etc. If you will be setting up and sending out messages on behalf of your school, you should watch the Admin 101 and 102 training courses. If you assist families who may have questions about ParentSquare and how it works, you should watch the parent videos. Also available is the teacher training video that provides a good overview of how teachers can use ParentSquare to communicate with families.

You can manage how you receive notifications by signing into ParentSquare.

The information from PowerSchool is updated nightly and the parent/guardian should expect their information to be updated in ParentSquare the next day.

The district uses contact information pulled from Employee Online for ParentSquare alerts and notifications. In the event of a school closure or delay, all staff will receive a phone call, text message and email.
To edit your contact information, follow these steps:- Log in to Employee Online
- Under Personal Information select “Personal Information” and edit your phone numbers. To receive alerts, the first two phone numbers listed will be used. If you want to receive text messages, please indicate one as your cell phone number. The other phone field can be set as your primary phone if you have a landline.
- Click the save icon in top right corner after you have made changes. Updates are made nightly to the system.

The current plan is to launch the attendance system in ParentSquare the week of Oct. 10.

- In ParentSquare, click on the Admin tab at the top
- Click on Classes on the left
- Click on the three dots (stacked ellipsis) to the right of the class you would like to edit
- Click Edit Class
- You should now be able to edit the class name in the Display Name
